Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

We are chosen by God and appointed for a specific purpose. It is up to us to discern and fulfill that purpose by bearing fruit that will last. This can involve using our unique gifts and talents to serve others and share the love of God with those around us. We should also remember that we can ask for God’s help and guidance in this process, trusting that if we ask in faith and according to His will, He will provide what we need to carry out His plans for us.
