Hebrew 13:5

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;

never will I forsake you.”

Hebrew 13:5

This verse encourages us to avoid the love of money or the idea that money is the most important thing in life. Instead, it advises them to be content with what they have, trusting in God’s promise to never leave or forsake them. This promise is a comforting one, as it suggests that God is always with His people and will never abandon them. The verse also emphasizes the importance of focusing on what really matters in life, rather than being driven by a desire for material wealth. By following this advice, believers can live more fulfilling and meaningful lives, knowing that they have the love and support of God.
