For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
Habakkuk 2:3
In this verse, the prophet Habakkuk expresses his frustration at the injustice and violence he sees around him, and he makes a declaration that the vision he has received from God will come to pass, but it will take time. Habakkuk expresses his concerns about the state of the world and God’s seeming inaction, and God responds by explaining that He is working in ways that Habakkuk cannot yet see. The verse is emphasizing on the power of vision and how it is for a specific time and that one should be patient and not lose faith even if the visions take time to materialize.
