Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
Ephesians 6:11
We are in a spiritual battle, and we need to be equipped with the right tools to face it. The armor of God includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. As we put on this armor, we are able to withstand the attacks of the enemy and stand firm in our faith. Applying this verse in our own lives means recognizing the spiritual battle we are in and intentionally putting on the armor of God each day. By doing so, we can be prepared for whatever challenges come our way and stand firm in our faith in God.
