In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.

we can have hope and joy in the midst of suffering and difficulty. The trials we face in life can be difficult, but they are only temporary, and we can have confidence in the knowledge that our faith in Jesus Christ will ultimately lead us to everlasting joy.
